10 Year Reunion

My 10 year reunion was this past weekend. It was a lot of fun. I saw a lot of old friends.
I got to hang out with Kristin one of my best friends and one of the fab four. Leslie and Carrie weren't able to make it but we missed them a ton. We'll get together some time soon girls.

Fun in Ohio

We had a great time with family in Ohio this past weekend. We spent some time at the YMCA pool.

We also had a great time on the Carousel with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Beth, Parker, and cousin Zoe.

Fiesta 2008

Our annual Fiesta was a hit complete with a Mariachi band and some great authentic Mexican food.
We also had pinatas for the kids throughout the night.
For the last month and a half we have been having open field soccer for adults to come and play. We had great turn outs each night. We had a championship game during the Fiesta. Marcelo was excited he was on the winning team. See you guys next year.

Growing Up

Ty is really getting used to Elena. They love hanging out together. This window is a perfect height for both of them.

There he is, his last bat of the season. The team did really well this year making it to the second round of playoffs. Maybe next year guys.

Books Books Books

Elena loves to read. Her favorite is Ten Little Ladybugs. She set these books all up by herself to look at them. I think she's a little bit like her daddy.
There is a farm market across from our church that has a little petting area. This is Elena's first horse encounter. She was a little confused as to what it was.

Triathlon Days

Well I had an amazing accomplishment this summer. I with one of our teens Tricia and Marcelo did a triathlon. Marcelo has done a few prior to this but I decided to try one with him. This was one of the most amazing and rewarding physical feats I have accomplished.
The triathlon consisted of a 300 meter swim, 9.25 mile bike and a 3.1 mile run. I finished sixth in my age group. I would love to do this again. We may do an indoor one in the winter.

Unity 2008

Marcelo took a group of teens to Unity Music Festival in Muskegon.
During the concert it rained but their was a beautiful rainbow that went all the way across the sky.
